Session Objective(s): Teachers will understand the 5 principles to assist mainstream classroom teachers in working effectively with English language learners. Teachers will be able to apply the instructional implications to their own teaching situations.
Brief Description: We will explore the 5 principles, accessing and sharing prior knowledge, and adding to our understandings. We will also collaboratively plan ways to apply the instructional implications to each teacher's teaching situation.
